We have been having a wonderful time on "Our" vacation. We left St Thomas, finally got into the British Virgin Islands after a 3.5 year absence. It was so nice to see old friends and around so many "Voyage" yachts (company is in Tortola)so we had a private tour of the electric 59ft catamaran. Beautiful!

We then went to Cooper island where it down poured with lightening We are always nervous when that happens (lightning rod on top of boat/mast)

From there we headed to St Maarten but wind died down so we stopped into St Croix for a night.

After a 16 hour sail and running ahead of a storm, ROUGH ride everything was on the floor! We have arrived here in St Maarten. We walked miles yesterday and took the dinghy for a little site seeing on the water @ Simpson Bay. Today we are moving the boat closer to Philipsburg to do a little shopping, eating, drinking, laughing and enjoying our time together.
